Easy peasy nice & squeezy?

Good evening blog world!

I’m feelin’ just peachy after my awesome workout and superfab easy, healthy din 🙂  Quick postie before I snuggle up with my man for some much needed “unplugged” time tonight — sorry peeps!

After work I headed over to my fave YMCA & did one of my super-fave classes (although it’s no kickboxing ehhh hemmmm)

Cardio 3 !!– An all cardio, moderate to high intensity, mixed impact aerobics class, using floor routines–45 minutes.

Love love love this class!   Call me Jane Fonda? 😉 Tonight there were plenty of mambos, grapevines & ham curls to go around…. our instructor had a dance focus, it was really good and uber-tiring!  She also used the phrase “easy peasy nice & squeezy”during the routine which I am still laughing about on the inside ??? hahaha ????  😛

Just want to give you friends a lil’ insight for you on my view of exercise & what personally works for me:

The type of exercise that I enjoy most includes variety and easy choreography — I will never be the type of gal that loves a long run or really thrives off an elliptical routine — I get BORED!!  Sorry, call me different, but that’s just what works for me!  Exception – swimming – could do this anytime 🙂

My weekly workout routines ususally consist of a variety of activity from yoga, kickboxing to cardio/strength ie The Shred — I don’t like to do the same thing over and over and really have seen a lot of great personal results this way.

So anyways, onto dinner now that you have listened to my exercise ‘weigh-in’ — no pun intended…!  (once again, uber-dork over here haha 🙂 )

We had some leftover Brat Hans Italian chicken sausages (no antibiotics, no nitrates added!)

that I knew would taste lovely with some sauteed onions & peppers.  And since Steph (no, not me) at work was kind enough to give me the variety of peppers at work today, I decided to add some of these to the mix!

Get to choppin'!

Get to choppin'!

Saute over medium in 1 tblsp EVOO til’ done, adding water if they start to stick.  I also added about 1/2 tblsp. butter at the end for some flavor, I really think this makes a difference!

Sizzleeeee

Sizzleeeee

To go with I decided to bake up some of these puppies

Love these guys

Love these guys

They were still on sale at Whole Foods for $1.99 and they are awesome for frozen food (if you notice I don’t care for this kinda stuff often :/)  Plus, they make the house smell heavenly— I am not into fast food at all however love the smell of Arby’s (I think it’s their rotisserie chicken?) and these fries smell just like that — hey, I don’t make the rules peeps.

Bring it!

Bring it!

This one hit the spot 🙂  !!

P.S. I love these plates — my good friend who is getting married (!!) this weekend gave them to me way back when when we lived together after college 🙂  Aren’t they cute?

Tres cute!

Tres cute!

Oh yea, and if you haven’t gone to kashi.com to get your free sample you should go now 🙂  I got mine the other day and crunched on it at work this afternoon, twas deelish.  Plus a $2 coupon – whoop whoop!

Headed to the store w/ this guy soon!
