Has anyone seen our driveway, bc upon waking up this morning I just couldn’t seem to find the darn thing!!!
Good thing I had the most delicious bowl of oats to start off this second Saturday in a row stuck in the house 😦 fine Saturday 😉
Did I mention I am in the midst of a complete Ricotta obsession?? I’ve been eating it as dessert w/ maple syrup & pumpkin pie spice too – deelish 🙂
- 1/3 cup oats
- 2/3 cups water
- 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- sliced banana
- frozen blueberries
- shredded coconut
- cream cheese, stirred in
- ricotta topper
- Three Sisters cinnamon sweets (<3!)
- maple syrup
I tend to use more H20 than other bloggies I see, however I like my oats thinner and I like to allow them to cook until they thicken. Thick, chunky oats make me angry haha. No seriously. 😛
This batch was totally and completely deelish!
While my breakfast digested I played the “let’s take pictures of the snow again” game 😛 Hey, my entertainment options are limited friends!

After all this fun I decided to tune into an ExerciseTV workout — except Verizon had other ideas and decided that On Demand was going to be out of service today… ah well, can’t complain, as long as we still have power!
So instead I decided that it was gonna have to be this guy to get my a$$ in shape 😛
Yes, that would be Tony Horton and that would be an hour long P90X Kenpo session followed by some Ab Ripper X – holy moley no jokes here friends!

That snow is crazy!! I can’t even begin to imagine having that much snow…
I love ricotta cheese too!! I like putting mini choc. chips in it so it’s like a canoli sans shell.
Wow that’s a lot of snow! My parents are snowed in in PA, too. I’ve never tried ricotta in oats- sounds yummy though!
Good lord—your snow is ridiculous. I can’t believe all of that (especially in the front yard!) I put on my fb that I want snow like my northern friends and everyone went off about it since they are all in VA, MD and DC. Take care and try not to go to stir crazy from being cooped up!

You guys sure did get snow again, we just got flurries and rain!! Though it is damn cold out so kinda wish it would snow 🙂 Glad that you guys still have power, that looks like one killer workout!
Mmmm – guess what I got at the store today? Ricotta!! I don’t have maple syrup (I know?!) but I might have to purchase some just for that dessert idea.
